This is called red bells of fire. This is similar to the orange jubilee commonly used! It has the same characteristics as the orange jubilee… only it has red flowers! Use this to soften your ugly block walls, it loves full sun!

I just had to add another plant for March. I added this one last year too! Its just too stunning not to add. Now in March it is blooming like crazy and well worth the wait to see it bloom. It is a silver leaf color the rest of the 9 months of the year, but now you can’t miss bush morning glory!!! Arizona landscaping!

Sea lavender, Statice. This 2ft tall plant has bold , purple blooms now in the month of March. It does not take up much room being 2ft tall and 18” wide. It needs afternoon shade to look its best. You can cut the flowers and use them inside in a vase! it looks great among annual and perennial flower beds!

Eremophila maculata ‘Valentine’ Well it’s called valentine for a reason! It has bright colored flowers in the month of February. Let this shrub grow natural during the year (no hedging it into a ball) it just needs 1 trim after it is done flowering. It can get up to 4 feet tall, and plant in full sun. It is frost resistant!! Even when it is not in bloom its leaves are a nice color.

Podranea ricasoliana PINK TRUMPET VINE

This vine is blooming NOW! It has heavy blooms on the entire plant from early November to early February and a few blooms on and off all year. The vine likes afternoon shade. The tops of the plant can be damaged by Arizona frosts but it can be trimmed way down to half its size and grow back great! Landscaping in Mesa and Gilbert Arizona.

It seems like AZ finally got some rain! A good plant now in September is rain lily white and pink (Zephyranthes candida and Zephyranthes grandiflora). With our warm temps and rains in July, August and September this plant opens up its blooms!!! When it is not in bloom it looks like soft green grass. It needs a little filtered shade in the afternoon but can be watered in the summer once every 5 days. Landscaping in Mesa and Gilbert Arizona.

Agave blue glow

Red or Mexican Bird of Paradise

This is the only plant that looks like it enjoys the 115 heat! It does freeze back in the winter but it can be trimmed down to the ground and it will grow back better than before! It is a large plant. It can get up to 6ft tall by 6ft wide. Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Queen creek landscaping. Landscaping in Mesa and Gilbert Arizona.
